Benefit concert for John Dee Holeman at Pizza Palace in Durham, NC on August 29th, 2008. Musicians included the guest of honor - John Dee Holeman, Andy Coats, Melvin Alston, and Steve Duncan on harmonica. The food was great, the music was awesome, and the crowd was both lively and very generous. The event raised a pretty significant amount of cash for John Dee, who has incurred some major medical expenses recently. Thanks to all of those who came out to support John Dee, and more thanks to those who just came for good food but ended up donating generously after listening to some great blues music.
